HUMAN CAPITAL

The container is an icon of our time, a decisive element in the capitalist globalisation by its role in the distribution of goods and its ability to increase the volume and speed of world trade.

The mapping of the world is conditioned by the exploitation of maritime transport and the “containerización of capital”, but also by the insatiable human exploitation of the system.

Human capital is an installation that uses the aesthetic potential of the container and its ability to take up metaphorically issues such as human mobility and international production systems.

This work uses “poor” materials as conceptual link with the globalization of poverty.
