The project DRAWING ROOM establishes a conceptual connection between different points of Mediterranean Sea. The concerned geographical areas have in common to be called “gates” of illegal immigration.

The project title is a metaphor: DRAWING ROOM is a lounge that refers to a space and reflects a certain sense of status. Traditionally it has been designed specifically to assist guests and visitors.

In DRAWING ROOM the protagonists of the project are the immigrants, that are the expected guests.
